“Guess Who’s Coming to Shabbas,” a program that partners congregants with one another for Shabbat dinners in their own homes, had a successful kick-off on November 1, 2014.
The program, which began last year in a suburban congregation outside Philadelphia, has two goals:
- To strengthen the synagogue community
- To help families build meaningful memories

Our hope is to grow the program exponentially, with invited guests then serving as hosts in subsequent months, leading to 100% inclusion of our members by the end of the year. Temple Sinai in Dresher, PA, where the program started, reached 82%. Think we can beat it? Let’s try!
So don’t be shy. Let us know if you can host! We want more of us to get to know one another outside the walls of the synagogue.
We want to wish you each a Shabbat Shalom in person!
