Rabbi Adam J. Rosenbaum is grateful for the opportunity to service Heska Amuna Synagogue. He was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and raised in Denver. After studying journalism at Northwestern University, he enrolled in the Jewish Theological Seminary. He was ordained as a Conservative rabbi and also earned a Master’s of Arts in Bible and Semitic Languages in 2005. He was the Assistant Rabbi of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston, NJ, and then was the solo rabbi at Synagogue Emanu-El in Charleston, SC, from 2009-2020. He held that same role at Temple Beth Tzedek in Williamsville, NY, for the following three years, before resettling in Charleston to be closer to his three children, Sparrow, Jonathan, and Eliana.
Rabbi Rosenbaum will serve Heska Amuna both in-person and remotely, and looks forward to working creatively with the congregation to meet its needs via a variety of formats. He also enjoys baseball, sports in general, writing, and comedy.
