We are an inclusive Conservative Jewish congregation offering both egalitarian traditional and contemporary services. The synagogue has served the Jewish community of Knoxville, Tennessee for over 130 years. We have grown from having a horseback circuit riding rabbi to broadcasting our services on the internet. Balancing respect for tradition with an openness to new ideas and practices, we come together as a family in the warmth of Shabbes, the spirituality of Jewish holy days, and the sharing of life’s important passages.

Small enough to be personal, yet large enough to meet the needs of a diverse membership – we invite you to make your home in our congregation.

We welcome all to be a part of our family.

Rabbi Adam Rosenbaum

Rabbi Rosenbaum will be at Camp Ramah Darom July 2-28, with limited access to email.

He will return to Knoxville July 29th-August 5th, during which he will lead Shabbat services August 1st-2nd as well as Tisha B’Av services August 2nd-3rd.

In the event of a family emergency or if concerns arise, please contact the Office 865-522-0701 during week days, or Laura Floyd 865-661-6863 or Mark Siegel 865-546-2221.

Rabbi will continue to email a new blog post on Thursdays and a short original video on Fridays, even while at camp!
