Harold’s at Heska Amuna is returning for one day only — Sunday, October 14 from 12 Noon - 3:00
p.m. Harold’s Restaurant was a downtown fixture for over 50 years and Knoxville’s only kosher
style restaurant. It was a favorite dining spot for both the Jewish community and anyone who
enjoyed good deli food. This special event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome.
The menu will include pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, matzah ball soup, halvah, apple cake,
and other Harold’s favorites. It is a great opportunity to indulge in your favorite deli sandwiches,
prepared just the way Harold Shersky made them since 1948 when Harold’s opened its doors. Former
Harold’s employees, Sandy, Sam, and Steve will be on hand to serve as well this year.
If you’ve missed eating at Harold’s or wish you had a chance, don’t miss this special event.
Parking will be available at the synagogue and at the old Bi-Lo parking lot on the corner of
Kingston Pike and N. Forest Park Boulevard. Shuttle service from the parking lot to Harold’s at
Heska Amuna will be provided.
